HomeGuard Membership Terms & Conditions. 1. Your membership term. HomeGuard membership runs for a fixed 12-month term from your start date. It renews automatically for a further 12 months at each anniversary unless you or we give written notice at least 30 days before the renewal date. 2. What your membership includes. Two seasonal moisture inspections per membership year (one in spring, one in autumn), each with a written report; 10% off our remediation, damp proofing, mould treatment and pest services; and priority booking. 3. Your fees. Monthly Plan: R299 per month for 12 months. Annual Plan: R2 990 once-off for 12 months (two months free). Fees may be adjusted on renewal with reasonable notice. 4. Your inspections. Inspections take place within the spring and autumn seasonal windows and are scheduled with you in advance. Unused inspections do not carry over to the next membership year. You are responsible for providing access to the areas that need checking. 5. Your member discount. The 10% discount applies to services billed directly to you as a member and cannot be combined with other promotions. 6. Your reports. Each report is a professional assessment of conditions at the time of inspection. It is not a guarantee or warranty of the condition of your property. 7. If a monthly payment fails. We will contact you to arrange payment. Membership benefits (inspections and discounts) pause until the account is up to date. 8. Ending your membership early. Your membership is for a fixed 12-month term. If you need to end it early, talk to us- we may agree an early termination, and where a reasonable cancellation fee applies it will be no more than permitted by law. 9. Your legal rights. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or any other law. 10. Your information. We handle your personal information according to our Privacy Policy and POPIA. 11. Our details.
